Enhancement of the Archaeological Area of Largo Argentina
Among the most important places in the historic centre, the Sacred Area of Largo Argentina contains remains that tell centuries of history. The four structures located in the centre of the area are sacred temples built between the third and second centuries BC, and it is here, in the adjacent Curia of Pompey, that Julius Caesar was assassinated on the day of the fateful Ides of March 44 BC.
In a year, you will be able to access the area and visit it, admiring closely those remains that, until now, were visible only from the outside, and relive an important period in the history of Rome.
